Care Instructions
For a detailed breakdown of how to care for and clean Wyndham Collection products, click here.
What types of cleaning products should I use for furniture care?
Only cleaning products specifically designed for furniture should be used. You may also use warm, soapy water or very mild detergents sparingly. Avoid bleach or ammonia-based products, as they can damage wood veneers.
How should I clean glass countertops?
For glass countertops, wipe down the surface with a damp sponge or cloth after use. Mild detergent can be used for spot cleaning. Avoid placing hot items directly on the surface and do not use abrasive or acidic cleaners.
What are the care instructions for marble and granite countertops?
To care for marble and granite, wash with clean cloths and lukewarm water. Blot spills immediately and use mild detergent every six months to remove ingrained dirt. Avoid vinegar, Windex, or bleach, and do not place hot items directly on the surfaces.
How can I protect my marble and granite countertops from stains?
To protect against stains, use a polish specifically formulated for marble or granite. If stains occur, use a poultice made of white blotting paper soaked in the appropriate solution to draw out the stain.
What should I do if my marble or granite surface becomes etched?
For surface etching caused by acids, wash the area with clean water. If any stain remains, apply a poultice according to the stain type. For rough or dulled areas, polishing may be necessary using putty powder or an electric polisher. If the damage is severe, consult a professional.
